Jessica Lee, J.D., is Co-Director of the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco's Center for WorkLife Law, and leads the Center’s Pregnant Scholar Initiative, the nationwide legal resource center for pregnant and parenting students. Her research and advocacy centers on advancing gender and racial equity in education, and she is a nationally recognized expert on the laws at the intersection of employment, education, and perinatal health. Jessica uses her expertise to translate complicated legal issues into actionable tools for students, institutions, and policymakers.
Jessica is the daughter of a student parent, and has experienced first-hand the difference that family-responsive institutions can make.
