Join the Pregnant Scholar for a series of back to school rights review webinars to get up to speed on the latest law and best practices for supporting pregnant and parenting students and workers on your campus. Each session will provide the opportunity for participants to ask questions. Pregnant and Parenting Students' Rights 101 July 30 (12ET/9PT) General review of rights under Title IX and related state laws Pregnant and Parenting Students' Rights and Accessibility August 6 (12ET/9PT) General review of rights and how they overlap and diverge from the rights of disabled students. Designed for staff members with a background in disability accommodations, but open to all. Pregnant and Parenting Students' Rights Open Office Hours August 18 (1ET/10PT) Need more info? Join this session for a 15 minute refresher on the core rights, followed by an open space to ask questions about accommodations, leave, and non-discrimination requirements. Pregnant and Parenting Students' Rights 101 (Second Session) September 16 (3ET/12PT) General review of rights under Title IX and related state laws Pregnant and Parenting Workers' Rights October 8 (12ET/9PT) Overview of the various laws that impact the rights of pregnant and parenting workers at educational institutions, including student workers.
